2020 Graduation Announcement

On Thursday, May 21st, the Governor amended the State's Direct Health Measure (DHM) for Saline county and others.

The latest, beginning June 1 "Gatherings" including indoor and outdoor arenas, stadiums, etc. include:

25% of rated occupancy

Groups of 6 people or less

Six (6) feet of separation between groups

Our gym capacity has roughly 1100 seats and with added chairs on the floor, we would have a capacity of approximately 1200 people shoulder to shoulder.  Twenty-five percent (25%) of that is 300 people so I find it highly unlikely that we can hold any form of "normal ceremony" in June even if the limit is raised one more time, therefore I am taking the June 27th graduation ceremony date off the table.  We will plan on a July 25th graduation date.  I hope that the extra couple of months will give our State more opportunities to "open up" and relax the DHM even more.

There may still be restrictions in July and if that is the case, we will communicate what exactly we feel we can do to follow state or local guidance and hold this milestone activity for the Class of 2020.
