Senior Class Play
The One That Got Away - March 23 & 24
Senior Class Play Goes Fishing
The 2018 Senior Class Play will be The One That Got Away by Eddie McPherson and published by Heuer Publishing.
This hilarious two-act play is scheduled to be performed on Friday, March 23rd and Saturday, March 24th at 7:30 p.m. in the Wilber-Clatonia High School auditorium. Centering around a fishing tournament that is “expecting a record number of female participants”, this fun-filled comedy shows the competition between the sexes in a whole new way. When Brad and his buddies show up at the tournament hoping to “pick up chicks” but not having any knowledge of fishing, they quickly become the target of a “payback” scheme devised by the women. Tagging along with the group of schemers is a “cousin” who fits the mold of the “nerd” but who wins everyone’s hearts. When Brad’s fiancé shows up to and finds out what he has been doing, the fireworks begin.
Sure to be a crowd-pleaser for people of all ages! Come and enjoy the fun!
Tickets can be obtained from any Wilber-Clatonia senior, Dr. Sarah Brown, or the Central Office beginning in early March at the cost of $7 per seat. Tickets will also be available at the door until sold out.
The doors will open at 7 p.m. for the 7:30 p.m. shows.
There will be dessert and drinks available during intermission for a free-will donation and all donations will go to the senior class for graduation fees.
